According to the EU Data Protection Basic Regulation (DSGVO) we are obliged to inform you about the purpose for which our practice collects, stores or passes on data. You can also see from the information which rights you have with regard to data protection.

PURPOSE OF THE DATA PROCESSING
Data processing is carried out on the basis of legal requirements in order to fulfil the treatment contract between you and your doctor and the associated obligations.
For this purpose we process your personal data, in particular the health data of your child. This includes anamnesis, diagnoses, therapy suggestions and findings that we or other doctors collect. For these purposes, other doctors or psychotherapists with whom your child is being treated may also provide us with data (e.g. in doctor’s letters).
The collection of health data is a prerequisite for your treatment. If the necessary information is not provided, careful treatment cannot take place.
RECIPIENT OF YOUR DATA
We only transfer your personal data to third parties if this is legally permitted or if you have given your consent.
Recipients of personal data may be, above all, other physicians / psychotherapists, associations of statutory health insurance physicians, health insurance companies, the medical service of the health insurance, medical associations, billing service providers and private medical clearinghouses.
The transmission is mainly for the purpose of billing the services provided for your child and to clarify medical and insurance-related questions. In individual cases, data may be transferred to other authorized recipients.
STORAGE OF YOUR DATA
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the execution of the treatment.
Due to legal requirements, we are obliged to keep this data for at least 10 years after completion of the treatment. Other regulations may provide for longer retention periods, for example 30 years in the case of X-ray records in accordance with Section 28, paragraph 3 of the X-ray Ordinance.
STORING AND PROCESSING OF DATA WHEN VISITING OUR WEBSITE
Our website is hosted at STRATO AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, Germany. According to STRATO AG, all requests to their servers are recorded in log files. Each record contains your IP address, the requested URL, information about your Browser (“User Agent”), date and time of the request, the HTTP status code (tells, if there was an error), the size of the response sent to your browser and the referrering URL. Your IP address will be stored by STRATO AG for seven days at max, for the purpose of defending against attacks on their infrastructure. After this time span, the IP will only be stored in anonymised form and cannot be allocated to a unique visitor any longer.
Besides that, our websites does not store or process any additional data from our visitors. Preferences are only saved per session (e.g. hiding the infobar at the top of the page), using a technology called Session Storage. When closing the browser tab or window, these settings are deleted. Your settings will not be transferred to our own server or any third-parties.
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to be informed about the personal data concerning your child. You may also request that incorrect data be corrected.
In addition, you have the right, under certain conditions, to delete data, to limit data processing and to transfer data.
The processing of your data is based on legal regulations. Only in exceptions do we need your consent. In these cases you have the right to revoke your consent for future processing.
You also have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority for data protection if you believe that the processing of your personal data is not lawful.
