Emergencies
Emergencies always happen unexpectedly. Prepare yourself by participating in a first aid course and by having the most important telephone numbers at hand. Most accidents happen at home, so make sure you have taken age-appropriate safety precautions. At each screening, we will provide you with information leaflets on age-specific accidents.
Important telephone numbers
In life-threatening situations you should contact the fire brigade immediately. If poisoning is suspected, the first thing to do is to contact the poison emergency call. You can find out which doctors are available in your area by calling the “Kassenärztliche Bereitschaftsdienst” (standby service of Statutory Health Insurance doctors).
